key words people use

Do you really need to know the key words people are using to find your website?

I added a few pages to our Winning Tenders website just last week and got Google to crawl them… which it did within minutes.

Already half a dozen people have found those pages via the search engines according to our Google analytics… they don’t tell me the key phrase, just that a visitor found a particular page via searching the Internet.

The logic is therefore, if I add 6 pages with a strategic purpose and 3 of those are found by those searching on days when I’ve not gone near the website… then there must be mileage in this approach.

So if we repeat this behaviour then more people will have the chance to find us!

Seem sensible to you?

  1. Hi,

    Good to hear from you.

I am just back from WER, very much there same – does anything change? Actually the food gets worse, the Castle Hotel has a tendency to serve sausages – cheap and cheerful but not very hot.

I heard they aim for 5* but NO WAY, we have stayed there and it is a marginal 3.

I shall write soon with a bit of news, nothing to overface you.

    Regards,

    Philip
