This sources sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or an obligation on behalf of the Government or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The Department of Interior (DOI) is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals at this time. Vendors responding to this notice are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought notice; all costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. The information provided may be used by DOI in developing its acquisition strategy and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for clearly marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. No classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.

Background The Department of Interior is seeking an enterprise-wide social media management tool to manage its existing and future presence on third-party social media sites, which includes but is not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Flickr, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. The tool or suite of tools should be able to support the Department 1,500+ social media accounts and provide unique logins for nearly 1,000 individual users.
